SigmaAxion is a tool for executing quantitative trading strategies. It is not investment advice and the platform does not act as an investment adviser or broker-dealer. Read this document carefully before using the platform.
Trading involves substantial risk
Speculative trading of derivatives, event contracts, and equities involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose some or all of the capital you allocate. You should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
Past performance
Past performance of any strategy, whether simulated (backtest) or live, is not a reliable indicator of future results. Backtests suffer from well-known biases including look-ahead, survivorship, and overfitting, even when we take reasonable steps to mitigate them. Live results may differ materially from paper simulations due to slippage, liquidity, fees, and market impact.
Hypothetical results
Any hypothetical or simulated returns displayed in the platform are prepared with the benefit of hindsight and do not reflect actual trading. Because the trades have not been executed, the results may under- or over-compensate for the impact of various factors, including lack of liquidity.
Event-contract and prediction markets
Event contracts are binary outcomes that may settle differently than the trader anticipates due to resolution rules, data source disputes, or venue discretion. Always read the resolution criteria before taking a position. Regulatory treatment varies by jurisdiction.
Venue risk
The platform routes orders to third-party venues. We do not control venue uptime, matching behavior, custodial arrangements, settlement, or solvency. Funds at a venue are subject to that venue’s terms and custody practices.
Technology risk
The platform is software and can fail. Network outages, exchange connectivity issues, API rate limits, and bugs can prevent orders from being placed, modified, or cancelled. The kill switch halts autonomous activity but cannot reverse a fill that has already occurred.
Data risk
Market data, pricing, and analytics are obtained from external providers. We cannot guarantee that they are accurate or complete. The platform uses reasonable-effort validation but downstream decisions may be affected by data errors.
Regulatory risk
Laws and venue policies change. Access to a venue may be restricted by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for complying with all rules that apply to your trading, including tax obligations.

Nothing in the platform constitutes investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Dashboards, signals, and model outputs are tools; they are not recommendations.

There are no guarantees of profit or against losses. Any displayed targets, ranges, Sharpe, or drawdown estimates are expectations, not commitments.
